Lake Travis Bass Action - Half Day Trip with Bass Tours ATX

Non-stop bites all day long! took Gary out for a late afternoon session on Lake Travis this fall, and the partly cloudy skies made for perfect fishing conditions. the water was just right for what we had planned, and Gary was ready to get after some bass. we launched out of Lago Vista and headed straight to our first spot with Bass Tours ATX for our Enjoy Half Day (Am or Pm)& Full Day Of Guided Fishing trip.

With our gear rigged and ready, we focused on bass fishing using casting and tackle fishing techniques throughout the afternoon. Lake Travis is absolutely perfect for this style of fishing because the structure and cover give bass plenty of places to hide, and the casting opportunities are endless around the points and coves. we worked several productive areas and found fish willing to bite on our tackle presentations. reckon the partly cloudy conditions kept the fish active and feeding well into the evening hours, which made for some great action on the water.

the afternoon session really showed why Lake Travis bass fishing is so consistent, and we had ourselves a big ol' time working different techniques and staying on active fish. Gary handled the tackle fishing like a pro, and we managed to stay on fish throughout most of our trip. ended up being one of those days where everything just clicked, and we wrapped up the session with smiles all around and plenty of good fishing stories to tell.
