<div>the water on lake travis has cooled slightly over the oast few days dew to high winds and unisual weather. the water temp is 65 and the bass are shallow. we are fishing grass flats on lake travis. it seems like rihht now if you can find grass you can find bass.&nbsp;</div>

<div>today we put some 6th sense fishing rods to use. probably my favorite is the response serise by 6th sense. on them we had 1/4oz ball head jigs with 3" and 4" swim baits. sometimes we wiuld switch to an underspin to get some extra bites. also working very well right now is a dropshot trick worm. almost any color seems to work, the key is having it on a light weight, 3/16oz is what i have been using&nbsp;</div>

<div>the fishing on lake travis today was absolutly inredible we had one of my best days out there in a while. we boated well over 70 fish with our biggest being about 25 lbs. we soend the day in a mssive grass flat throwing an assorment of soft plastics and the occasional top water&nbsp;</div>

<div>water temps on lake travis are 58-61 degrees and the fish are moving up in less then 10 feet of water pretty much through out the lake. While fishing today we targeted large grass flats that are being hit by the wind. fishing in 2'-10' of water</div>

<div>today while fishing on lake trvia we used 6th sense medium light soinning rods. since we are fishing grass i used a 15lb floro leaded with a 1/4oz jig head and 3"-4" swimbait.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div>

<div>the water is 63 degrees on lake austin and the fish seem to be pushing up into every creek in the mid lake section of the river. as always this time if year a wacky rig is king of fishing. stay shallow and always go all the way to the back</div>

<div>the water is 49-50 degrees and the bass in lake austin are schooled up in the river channel outside of spawning areas. most schools are actiy chasing bait bit some are in an area and wont leave the area</div>
